Research Associate

Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas

This is a full-time, 12-month position with paid vacation and fringe benefits. The Research Associate for the Sustainability Consortium will conduct research and manage the development of data to support the Sustainability Metrics and Reporting System (SMRS). The research associate will work with process-based life cycle inventory databases, as well as other tools to support Consortium research needs, primarily in the areas of paper-based consumer products and packaging of consumer goods, with other areas of focus to be added. The data, tools, and research will support the development of product sustainability assessment and reporting standards for the global consumer goods economy.

Physical & Life Sciences Internship Program

Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas

TSC members and affiliates - as you know TSC is creating sustainability dossiers for 100 product categories this fall, and we are soliciting your support in reaching our collective goal. Specifically, we are offering an embedded internship program, described in detail in the doccument below. Most of you,
at least occasionally, employ interns for the summer or possibly academic semester, and TSC would like to support projects for some of these people through a structured program focused on development of level 1 dossiers and eventually category sustainability profiles. Consumer Science Volunteer Program

Location: Tempe, Arizona

There are two unpaid positions available through The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) for students who would like to play a role in generating consumer insights for the development of our Level 1 Sustainability Measurement and Reporting System (SMRS). These positions provide a great opportunity for students who are interested in learning about text analysis and qualitative research methods to see how the results of academic research can be used by companies throughout the world.
