The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) is a global organization working to transform the consumer goods industry by partnering with leading companies to define, develop, and deliver more sustainable products. TSC creates change through the implementation of our science-based, metrics driven approach. Through collaborating with our broad membership base—which includes manufacturers, retailers, corporations, and NGOs—and other stakeholders, we drive innovation for a new generation of products and more sustainable supply networks.
The Research Analyst Assistant, Technical Development will contribute to The Sustainability Consortium’s research and technical sustainability activities for the Home and Personal Care (HPC), Toys, Electronics, and General Merchandise sectors and will support other sectors within TSC as needed. Will assist in the organization and analysis of data obtained from TSC’s sustainability measurement and reporting systems and will help to improve current systems and develop new reporting tools for retailers or other users throughout the supply chain. Prepare and summarize data to be used for reports and presentations by senior staff and supporting staff on research and member calls when needed. Perform basic research tasks by reviewing and organizing relevant scientific literature relevant to the specific needs of each TSC sector.
This position is 100% appointed to TSC which is part of ASU’s Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability. Two U.S.-based universities (Arizona State University and the University of Arkansas) legally administer TSC, but there are also offices in Europe and China and we have members, partners, and users on every continent.
