HSBC is one of the world’s largest universal banks with over $2.5tn of assets, headquartered in London, UK. Roderick is a Vice President in HSBC’s Global Banking division, where he is responsible for managing the global relationships with some of the bank’s largest US and multinational corporate clients in the Consumer, Retail, and Healthcare sectors. He has been with the bank for over a decade and has worked in various roles across Global/Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, and Risk Management. He was previously based in Asia (Sri Lanka), Europe (UK, the Netherlands), and the Americas (USA). Prior to joining HSBC he was a diplomat for the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Roderick holds a BA in Social Sciences from University College Utrecht, an MA in International Peace & Security from King’s College London, and two MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School. He is married and currently resides in Hoboken, NJ.
