The McKinsey on Sustainability and Resource Productivity (MoSRP) compendium of articles covers four broad topics: energy, mobility, sustainability in the consumer sector, and investing in sustainability. In each of these areas, we see increasing momentum towards more sustainable growth, through technology innovation, for example in wind and energy storage; business model innovation, such as ride-sharing; and embedding sustainability principles into corporate thinking and action, particularly in the mobility, consumer, and finance industries. Boosting global living standards while preserving natural resources is neither impossible nor inevitable. The consistent application of good business judgement and plain better management can speed up the pace of change. These themes run throughout the various articles that make up the compendium.
